Seeing is believing, and nowhere is this truer than in forest management. Seeing the Forest AND the Trees: How to Make the Most of Minnesota’s Woods, is a series of study tours in the Great Lakes region and Finland and Sweden for policy makers and practitioners to travel together for inspiration and shared learning.
These tours will exhibit:
Best practices for increasing productivity through sustainable forest management;
Policies and procedures that sustain those practices; and
Forest landowners empowered to participate in best practices.

Increase the quality and value of forests and the products that come from the land in Minnesota and other Lake States.
