More
than 150 people, who have a vital interest in our forests and forest
economy, participated in the September 10 -11, 2003 Call to Action
where they developed seven action teams to address the most pressing
issues between now and December, when the second Call to Action
will be held.
“It
was an outstanding start,” said Bernadine Joselyn, Public Policy
& Engagement director for Blandin Foundation. “The group was
broad and diverse – representing key sectors. We assessed the global
context impacting forests and the industry and identified key opportunities
that this initiative is uniquely positioned to address.”
